His name is Hugo Chávez (not “Caves”)
@ RJ
Ok, thanks for correction. I have edit the name.
This is one little things that all that´s pass in Venezuela.
Here everybody had one or two cels now we´ll have three. Jeje.
Of course, Chavez has an asset most governments ( even progressive ones ) don’t have: the oil money. However he has the great merit of using for good ( excelent! ) purposes: to benefit the people instead of the big finance tycons! And that is an enormous diderence!
In spite of some minor mistakes ( like the referendum on socialism and the creation of a Party “from above”) he has all my respect and admiration!
How can anyone call him “dictactor” ( after being validated by so many elections )? What “democratic” country has a clause in the law that allows the people to kick a president out in the middle of his term?
Dictator? They should be ashamed! Is the people’s vote no longer sovereign?
Shame on them and long live Hugo Chavez!!
Luis Almeida from Lisbon, Portugal
Who translated this?? I hope el vergatario is not as bad as this propaganda.
Luis, shut up!! You’re not venezuelan you don’t know it, and if you have family in Venezuela which you might, because you’re portuguese, then you know they aren’t doing alright.
Luis Almeida, if you like Chavez so much what are you doing in Portugal???
Go, Go! Chavez + Luis Almeida

Hi..
great information..
thanks for the video..
F**k you Luis. It is pretty easy to notice you dont live in Venzuela. FIY closing up the two cannals that were actually delivering information to all the Venezuelans about the what is happening in the country isn’t dictatorship, is it Luis. And about the clause it doesn’t really matter if all the peoplein a protest that doesnt support chavez is shot down by the own police who is supposed to protect it
LOL I see a lot of people here pretend to be Venezuelans.
In fact these are Americans.
USA has supported many right wing dictators in South America and created a mess in South America.
An united South America is a nightmare for the USA.
They need to divide and conquer.
Don’t worry luis all these people attacking you are just reflecting their own insecurities and flaws. Hugo Chavez is a great president, he’s done so much for Venezuela!!!! Unfortunately they hate him only because he’s attacking old mafias and corruption in Venezuela. Hugo Chavez have hit them in their pockets, they used to spend money from public institutions to buy cars, houses, go travelling around the world and he has put a stop to it. That’s why people like YOR CASTELLANO, MASHA and FRANCISCO attacked you, they just don’t know what is to live in a democratic country!!!
Almeida, if you are elected…. do you get the right to massively break laws, discriminate and kill..? If you did, then I’d agree with you in the point that he’s not a dictator. Live there! then talk….
WOW !!! Pedro In what part of venezuela do you live (In Palma africana maybe) How can you say that Chavez is a great president, he’s done so much for Venezuela!!!!
Can you Explain why if that is so true the people getting so rich are only from the goverment party you don’t see any bobositor getting rich
Venezuela only need a new group of people tire of this crap and willing to risk everything even their life to put an end to this (so called revolution)
Not from any party just tired of this BS and willing to work for a better and safer venezuela!!!!
Paracaidista Por Venezuela…
woahh!!! Paracsaidista por Venezuela, i can see the only thing u know about Venezuela is how to spell it!! maybe if you lay off CNN for awhile u might actually get your facts straight!!! Let me tell you that there are many people getting richer, some for their work and some others for the wrong reasons. Private companies playing along with opposition parties speculate with prices, stockpiles their production to make prices go higher!!. When Chavez or any institution from the government defend the people from theses dirty tactics, they are called oppressive or a dictator from people like you!!! Shame on you!!. Here in Venezuela there are too many criminals and murderers who are treated like victims only because they oppose Chavez. Hatred from the opposition has made them defend “undefendable” persons. You wanna commit a crime in Venezuela and get away with it, just have to say on tv you hate Chavez and many people will go out on your defense. Kill, rob, swindle. It’s all good as long as you hate Chavez!! poor people!!.
Having read the negative comments to my 07 May comment, I just want to add a final comment and skip f rom the debate ( actions and ideas are more decisive than words…): I walways reason in class terms. For example, for me, categories like “competence”, “good” or “bad” do not float in the air above the interests of existing social classes ( the “haves” and “have-nots”). For me, if someone is competent in atacting myself and the class to which I belong, I would rather want him to be incompetent.
Even Camoes, the greatest portuguese poet, said: ” in bad terms with El Rey ( the King) for love to people; in bad terms with the People for the love fo El Rey!
You just can’t be on both sides, in Venezuela like everywhere else, we must choose. Chavez or the venezuelan olygarchy? The very bunch of people that used the oil money to favour themselves and the gringos leaving the people in poverty?
Sometimes simple issues are “made” complicated on purpose…
Take “good” or “bad”, for example: for me are “good”all polytical actions that favour a vast majority and “bad” are the ones that favour a tiny minority. And the key-words here are “vast” and “tiny”.
Just think ( if you can ) who does Chavez favours? And who did his opponents favoured when they were in power?
Luis
