Apple Plan iPhone As The Future Of Gameplay
Apple Marketing Executive, Greg Joswiak said that iPhone and iPod touch is “the future of gameplay”. He said it, because the sold of game in AppStore very high. And if you compare iPhone with handheld game-console such as Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, iPhone still step ahead.
Something that make iPhone still step ahead are great features such as accelerometer, multi-touch display, light weight, and easy way to buy all iPhone games via AppStore. Appstore has 1500 games for iPhone, but Nintendo DS only 300 games and Sony PSP only 600 games.
But iPhone still has a limit capacity as gaming device. Steve Demeter from software developer Trism said that a lot of limitation in iPhone when his team try to develop game. Some limitation in iPhone like limitation processor work ability, graphic ability and memory management make iPhone not so good for game play as Sony PSP.
