Stage set in the fictional city of Sandifornia, Skater Nation gives you hop on the board as one of eight dissimilar skaters in its case Career mode. Six skaters are useable initially, on an further duo unlocked later on your first run through the game, each differing in their abilities. Variants in jump height, speed, grinding ability, manual skill and other properties apply each skater a unique play expressive style. When you are not able to augment these stats or customize your skater’s ribbons, parts took by finishing missions can be used to tailor your skateboard.
