Your right about putting it in rice but its best to do it for a week and leave it in an airing cupboard! I did this with my n95 8gb when the screen screwed up over a lil snow and it bought back the picture to the screen and the phone would finally turn on again but as the phone was switched on when the damage was cause it fried the lighting on the screen so i had to replace the screen in the end anyway so that sucked but at least the phone itself was ok i guess? : )
