Still haven’t figured out how to set up an email account on your iPhone? The process is merely simple. All you need is an iPhone, an email account with your username, password and mail server host information for your domain.

- First, go to “settings” in the home screen. Select the “mail, contact, calendar” option then select “add account”.

- Then choose the appropriate email account type. If the email account is with Microsoft exchange, such as mobileme, gmail, yahoo or aol, select the appropriate icons. But if setting up an email for another service, choose “other” option.

- As required, enter your account information such as username, email address, password and an optional description then finally press save.

- You may have to select what type of email server the account uses such as IMAP or POP and click the appropriate button.

- Now, enter the name for your incoming mail server. If you’re not sure with what name to put for your incoming mail server, you can ask for help from your internet provider for the information.

- After that, you may now enter your username and password for the incoming server.

- Then do the same for your outgoing mail server by entering the internet host name. Again, if you’re not sure what host name to put, you can ask for help from your internet provider for the information or IT administrator at work.

- Then enter the username and password, only if you want to since a username and a password isn’t really a requirement for an outgoing mail server. But it’s still better to have those.

- And lastly, select “save”.

You now have created a new account on your iPhone and would already be able to check your emails through it.
