RIM has officially announced their latest smartphone – Blackberry Torch 9800. Blackberry Torch 9800 will be available for AT&T operator in the U.S. starting August 12th, 2010 with price $199.99 for two years contract. Beside in AT&T store, customers also can buy the Blackberry Torch 9800 at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and RadioShack.
Blackberry Torch 9800 came with fresh design such as sliding QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen display (3.2 inch 360 × 480 px resolution), size 4.4″ (5.8″ in open condition) X 2.4 “X 0.57″ and weight 5.68 ounces.
This phone also has an optical trackpad, 4 GB built-in flash memory and 4 GB MicroSD card, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 5 megapixel camera with flash and able to record video in mode 640 × 480 px. Blackberry Torch 9800 uses the latest Blackberry OS – BlackBerry OS 6.0 and the battery can be used up to 8.5 hours talk time on 3G networks.
