Verizon’s Motorola Droid 2 Officially Launches This Week

Finally, Motorola has launched new Motorola Droid 2 as the next generation of Motorola Droid as a CDMA Android phone. Actually, Motorola Droid 2 is as the answer to customer complaint about the touchpad in the previous Motorola Droid and the touchpad has been removed. It is not just a matter of a different touchpad, the Motorola Droid 2 also has better processor and RAM memory.
Motorola Droid processor has speed 550 MHz, 256 MB RAM and uses Android 1.6 as operating system, while Motorola Droid 2 processor has speed 2 GHz, 512 MB RAM and uses Android 2.2 as operating system. Other specifications of Motorola Droid 2 are same with the previous Droid such as: 5 MP camera, 3.7 inch screen (854 × 480), GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
