After going through various rumors related to the appearance of Nokia 5250 on Ovi Store, finally Nokia 5250 officially introduced to the audience. Nokia 5250 appears in a more compact design than the its “brothers”, the Nokia 5230 or Nokia 5233. This phone uses Symbian^1 as operating system, commonly known as the Symbian S60 5th edition. Nokia 5250 has 2.8 inch screen, with nHD density display (360×640 pixels).

For the network, Nokia 5250 still rely on quad-band GSM network and GPRS / EDGE channel. There is no access to the 3G channel. It is also equipped with 2 MP camera, but unfortunately without autofocus support, but the camera is claimed to be able to produce QVGA-sized video (320×240 pixels) at 30 frames per second.

For the battery, Nokia 5250 has battery with capacity 1000 mAh and according to information, it can be used for standby up to 18 days, 7 hours talk time and 24 hours listening to music. Only, it seems this phone is positioned for lower segment. This can be seen from the absence of 3G technology, GPS devices, and minus Wi-Fi. Nokia 5250 available in the market in the 4th quarter of 2010 and the price range 115 euros.
