Motorola MC45, Tough Mobile Phone with Windows Phone OS for Field Workers

Recognizing the critical role of field workers, Motorola Solutions to introduce a tough new mobile devices which intended specifically to support field workers. A device that is supposedly named Motorola MC45 is designed specifically for the field workers with rugged and extreme work that need a high safety factor. Motorola MC45 accordance to MIL-STD 810G standard, so it resistant to shock from a height of 1.5 meters and also resistant to extreme temperatures between -10 ° C to 50 ° C. Meanwhile, based on the standard of IP64, the device is also waterproof and dustproof.

How about the performance of Motorola MC45? The tough mobile phone that based on Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5.3 Professional Edition has been powered by a Qualcomm MSM7627 600MHz processor and 256MB of RAM. Beside having 1GB of internal storage and supports expansion via microSD up to 32GB, this phone has also been equipped with a 3.2 inch touch screen presence, 26-key numeric keypad and a 3.2 Megapixel camera that able to take photos and reading 1D / 2D barcode.

The presence of a laser scanner with the 1D Scanning Adaptive scanning technology, makes this device able to perform intensive scan to obtain data on actual field conditions. Motorola MC45 is also equipped with Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, built-in GPS and 3.5G HSDPA connections. The tough Motorola MC45 is priced around $ 1,345 USD.
